Rings in the Tower

West End Tower is an iconic sight on the Vanderbilt skyline. At the end of each semester, West End Tower plays host to the tradition of Rings in the Tower. In the evening, class rings are locked away before being retrieved the next morning with a special reception on the 19th floor. It’s a special opportunity to see the West End Tower and celebrate the milestone of receiving YOUR class ring!

Vanderbilt for Life Senior Series

The Vanderbilt for Life senior event series launched spring 2014, bringing to life the annual Vanderbilt for Life Guide; offering real-world advice from young alumni to help seniors "conquer and prevail" after graduation. The Alumni Association is here to help seniors navigate next steps with first jobs, grad school, and fining community in their new cities.

Student Alumni Board

The Student Alumni Board (SAB) is a team of students from each undergraduate class who design and implement (with the help of an adviser from the Office of Alumni Relations) class building and activities that connect them with the alumni community. ÌýSAB has four boards; one for each class.

Legends Tour

This traditions event is brought to you by your Student Alumni Board and the Alumni Association. Mark your calendars for an autumn tour of Vanderbilt's ghosts, urban legends, and rich history. This event is open to the entire Vanderbilt community- students, staff, alumni and parents!

Squirrel Appreciation Day

We all see them every day, hiding around campus and popping out of the most random of places. Each January we take a moment to celebrate our furry friends on campus with a day full of themed fun and treats.

Commodores in the Community

An annual event held each spring in which alumni come together in cities across the country to complete a service project in their community.

Young Alumni

Just because you've graduated, doesn't mean the traditions won't continue!

Welcome PartiesÌý- Each year events are hosted in cities across the U.S. to welcome our newest graduates to their new homes. Previous cities include: Atlanta, NYC, D.C., Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, Nashville, Houston, San Francisco and Charlotte.
