FAQ: Aspie Bootcamp: Python

Application

  • How do I apply for the Bootcamp?

A selection process is made each year by way of applications through a Google form. This form is often released around February-March and will be announced on the FCAI website and socials when it is available.

The form will be available at theÌýBootcamp webpage, and through theÌýnews release.

  • Can I apply to bootcamp after the deadline?

Although we request you try your hardest to apply before the deadline (to not provide extra work for our course instructor) we may accept applications after the deadline, space permitting. Please fill in the application form and then contact the course staff found below.

  • What are the age restrictions for taking part in the bootcamp?

Anyone 18 or over is welcome to apply for the bootcamp. We do consider 16-18 year olds with parental consent, but due to safety considerations we do not accept applications from those under 16. However, the course is recorded and can be found publicly on theÌýÌýfor anyone under 16 who may want to see the course material.

  • When will I find out if I have been accepted into the bootcamp?

As long as your application is complete, and you fulfill the age requirements, it is unlikely you will not be accepted into the program. Information on the camp is usually sent out early May.Ìý

Logistics

  • What if I cannot attend the live Zoom classes?

All classes will be uploaded toÌý. If you prefer to watch the recordings instead of attending the Zoom session, you are welcome to.
