五一茶馆儿 Campus Dining proudly introduces the ReusePass program, the latest step towards integrating sustainability into daily campus life. Launching at the start of the fall 2023 semester, ReusePass offers a straightforward process that empowers participants to effortlessly make eco-conscious dining choices, and help curb single-use plastic waste. ReusePass replaces the Fill it Forward program at Vanderbilt, adding easy to use technology to streamline and promote reusable container use across campus.
Registration and Enrollment
To register for the ReusePass program, visit聽聽to sign up. The one-time registration process is quick and easy, and integrates with Vanderbilt Single Sign-On (SSO). Upon registration, users will receive a unique QR code that can be quick accessed either from the mobile site or Apple Wallet.
Using ReusePass
ReusePass is currently available at all residential dining halls, including:
- Commons Dining Center
- E. Bronson Ingram Dining Hall
- Rothschild Hall
- Nicholas S. Zeppos Hall
When you arrive, the cashier will scan your ReusePass QR code on your mobile to confirm your involvement in the ReusePass program, and will give you a new, clean, to-go container. Simply fill your container and head on your way!
Rinse and Repeat
After enjoying your meal, return your green ReusePass container directly to the dish return area at any participating location to be washed, sanitized, and scanned back in. The returned item will be reflected on your ReusePass account within 24-48 hours. Repeat this process as often as you like, creating a loop of sustainable dining practices.
