Come out to the Student Involvement Fair to learn more about Vanderbilt&#8217;s student organizations as well as various departments that have leadership and involvement opportunities for students. The fair is <strong>Friday, August 22, 2025 from 3:00 pm-5:00pm <\/strong>in the <strong>Recreation and Wellness Center Field House<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This event will provide incoming first-year and transfer students with the opportunity to learn about our active student groups, and to help them connect with a community away from home.<\/p>\n<p>It is also our hope that through this event, Student Organization Leaders retain the opportunity to successfully meet their mission objectives and continue to expand the community that contributes to the fabric of our Vanderbilt community.<\/p>\n<h3>Organizations from the following categories will all be present:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Campus Programming Organizations<\/li>\n<li>Club Sports<\/li>\n<li>Cultural Organizations<\/li>\n<li>Environmental Organizations<\/li>\n<li>Performing &amp; Fine Arts Groups<\/li>\n<li>Political Groups<\/li>\n<li>Pre-Professional Societies<\/li>\n<li>Religious &amp; Spiritual Groups<\/li>\n<li>Service Organizations<\/li>\n<li>Student Government<\/li>\n<li>Student Media<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Organizations currently signed up for the Student Involvement Fair<\/h3>\n<p>The following organizations completed their registration form where they also confirmed attendance to this event.\u00a0 If your organization is not listed below and you would like for them to attend the fair, please check to see if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Your organization completed their registration on Anchor Link<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>You can find this information by clicking on the &#8220;Submissions&#8221; option on Anchor Link (click on your initial or picture on the top right side of the page) and looking for 2025-2026 RSO Registration.<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t worry if your registration form has been submitted but still remains &#8220;pending.&#8221; This does not impact your spot on the Involvement Fair list. Your event will be <u>denied<\/u> if it is registered improperly. Please note the deadline for registering events in Anchor Link for the Student Involvement Fair is <strong>Friday, August 29 at 3pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Helpful Tips At The Fair<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Have your laptop(s) and other electronic items fully charged before arriving since no one will have access to electrical power<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Create a trifold highlighting information about your organization\u2019s mission, goals, and accomplishments<\/li>\n<li>Have handouts ready with information about how to get involved and upcoming meetings and events<\/li>\n<li>Wear branded apparel or coordinated items and name tags to make it clear which organization you are with<\/li>\n<li>Make a plan for how you will make students interested in coming to your table (ex. giving away swag, candy, food, etc.)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Please use all available trash bins to dispose of any garbage or unwanted items.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Information For Student Organization Leaders\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Student organization leaders are <strong>strongly encouraged to pass this message along to any executive board leaders who currently do not have access to the Anchor Link Leader Listserv.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>If your organization is not represented on the\u00a0Student Involvement Fair List (above) and Map\u00a0, they are not eligible to table at the event.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please review the map and table chart below to find out where your organization will be located in the area.\u00a0 Please note that this year you will be sharing an 8 foot table with another organization.\u00a0 We ask that you be mindful of the items that you will bring to this event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arrival and Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 15.0pt;margin: 7.5pt 0in .0001pt 0in\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif;color: black\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt\"><b>Your organization will need to arrive at 2:30pm to begin setting up its table.\u00a0 <\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 15.3333px\"><b>Organizations<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt\"><b>\u00a0must remain in the fair for the entire time.\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif;color: black\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/vu-wp0\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/119\/2017\/08\/21162522\/Rec-Center-Fair-Entrance-Map.pdf\"><span style=\"color: #336699\">Fair Entrance<\/span><\/a> will be open by then.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Your organization will be notified by email prior to the event if we need to cancel.<\/p>\n<p><em>Please note:<\/em> only officially registered student organizations may participate in the fair.
