Overview
Bharat is engaged in research with both Janet Macdonald's research group and Richard Haglund's Applied Optics Physics Group. His research trajectory has been highly interdisciplinary. He commenced with a master’s research project aimed at predicting the spin states of quantum mechanically entangled photons. Subsequently, he served as a research assistant on a simulation-based project predicting nuclear fusion for unstable nuclei. He then progressed to synthesizing multiferroic nanostructures for photocatalysis and enhancing the performance of switching devices. At Vanderbilt, in Spring 2024 ÎåÒ»²è¹Ý¶ù, he focused on the fabrication of CNT membranes for hemodialysis and hemofiltration. His current research is centered on studying localized surface plasmon resonance of metal-semiconductor heterostructures to enhance harmonic generation, with applications in photothermal therapy, photoabsorbers, and catalysis.
