Overview
Sonam Thukral is a member of the Class of 2028 at Vanderbilt University majoring in Electrical & Computer Engineering with minors in Computer Science and Business. Originally from New York City, she joined the VINSE Tech Crew in the summer of 2026 and is working on atomic layer deposition processes for aluminum nitride, as well as silicon etching, to optimize microelectronic properties. Both in and outside the cleanroom, Sonam is committed to utilizing engineering and technology for broader community impact through project initiatives beyond her research, as well as her work with organizations such as Justice Through Tech. She is also a member of the Theta Tau engineering fraternity and the Bhangradores dance team.
