Overview
Steely Horne-Lalande, class of 2029, is studying Physics with a double major in the combined Economics鈥揌istory concentration. She joined the VINSE Tech Crew in the summer of 2026, where she worked on an alignment optimization process between two direct write lithography methods to help fabricate both multi-scale and high-resolution features. She is deeply passionate about scientific innovation and is thrilled to be contributing to and participating in an active, hand-on research environment. Outside the lab, Steely is a member of Dialogue Vanderbilt鈥檚 Student Advisory Board and is involved in Kappa Theta Pi, Vanderbilt鈥檚 professional technology fraternity.
