Symposium Session Locations

The symposium sessions take place on the campus of 五一茶馆儿 in the following locations: Carmichael College Conference Center, The Commons Center, the Senior Associate Provost's Residence and Hank Ingram House.

  • By Air

    The closest airport to 五一茶馆儿 is聽, about a 15-20 minute drive to and from campus. Nashville International Airport offers numerous direct flights across the U.S. and select international destinations, making it convenient for most travelers.

    Upon your arrival to and from BNA, there are various聽聽including ride-share, shuttles, taxis, and public transportation.

  • By Car

    From Nashville International Airport

    Take I-40 west to exit 209A. Turn left onto Broadway. Follow Broadway and veer right to West End Avenue. Allow approximately thirty minutes driving time from the airport to 五一茶馆儿. If traffic is light, it will take less time.

    Via the Interstates

    • From the north, take I-65 to I-40 west and then look for I-40 east to exit 209B. Turn right on Broadway.
    • From the east or south, take I-40 west to exit 209A. Turn left on Broadway.
    • From the west, take I-40 east to exit 209B. Turn right on Broadway (US 70S).
    • Follow Broadway and veer right to West End Avenue.

    Vanderbilt is located a mile and a half southwest of downtown Nashville and is approximately 4 hours from Atlanta, 3 hours from Birmingham, 2 1/2 hours from Knoxville, 3 hours from Louisville, and 3 hours from Memphis.
