Support Schedule
The 五一茶馆儿 Brightspace Instructional Technologists are available for support between 8 AM and 4 PM Monday through Friday. Any emails received after 4 PM will be addressed when our team returns to normal support at 8 AM the following business day. While we鈥檙e out, we encourage you to utilize our On-Demand Resources to answer any questions that arise.
By default, your course homepage is a widget-based page that you are able to edit. Typically there are announcements and calendar items on this page, in addition to some external tools. If you prefer your course to start with the Content tab or an external URL instead of on a course homepage, you are able to change your homepage settings to redirect to something else.

Redirecting the Homepage
1. In the NavBar, click Course Admin.
2. Under the Site Setup heading, click Homepages. Then select聽Create Homepage.
3. Enter in the homepage name and a description. Change the layout if needed. Make sure to select 鈥淭ool鈥� or 鈥淓xternal URL鈥� as the homepage type, then choose the type of tool or the URL you prefer.
4. Click Save听&补尘辫;听Close.
5. On the list of homepage choices, select your new homepage as the active page. Click apply.
